This part between Lake Louise and Banff B.C. Cherry Point, Puget
Sound, Washington. 1987 AD We use to camp in a tents right on this beach.
Birch Bay State Park was only five minutes away so our kids could use the washrooms before they close the park at night and we would have breakfast and shower at the park in
morning. We would have a beach fire, watch the sunset, roast marshmallows, have fireworks, and
listen to our favorite blues/jazz radio station. We would wake up by wildlife noises birds or sometimes by
whales, sea lions, seals, that would be looking in to our tent in the morning.
This little bay area was the last wild accessible beach in Puget sound and is now a seaport with no access to the sea
