The Adult FASD diagnostic, assessment and intervention team has a slightly different composition of members, but use the same in-kind model including:  Physician, Neuro-psychologist, Human Resources & Employment Career Counselor, Persons with Developmental Disabilities Community Service Coordinator, Alberta Mental Health Therapist, Legal representative from Alberta Criminal Justice Aboriginal Liaison, and Addictions Counselor.  Again the Neuropsychologist and Physician are not provided in kind and the Team Coordinator is a full time employee of the Centre.

The adult team is the only team in Alberta and likely Canada that is specifically designed to meet the needs of Adults.  The adults to date have found the service to be very beneficial and that it has provided them with a rationale for why things continue to happen to them, and it has opened doors to access programming and supports.  The families say that the biggest impact is that they can set realistic expectations for their loved one.

To date 38 adults have been seen in the area.
