Losing to the Lethbridge Larks, the Senior "A" club, 13 - 12 after having them down 12 - 4.

Going to Ardrossan, east of Edmonton, and smoking Calgary something like 16 -2 in the first game of the provincials.Then getting rained out the next day.

Playing Edmonton Saturday night in Lethbridge with only nine players because Myron Ell got married that day and Ken Matisz was his best man. Gary Simmons played a superb outfield for us (the writeup in The Herald said he got a triple????) as we hammered Edmonton 16 -2.

Overwhelmed Edmonton 10 -3 to retain the provincial crown.
