Prices

Prices are mostly in Canadian Dollars with approximate cost in US dollars in brackets. US dollar prices vary with exchange rate fluctuations. Ask for current rates.

All prices are subject to change.

To Book

Carefully read the following booking conditions.
Download and complete our General Program Application Form and fax or mail to us.
or, call us at number below and use your credit card (MC or Visa) to book.
or, email us with the following info and call or fax card number to us.

If booking by email we will need the following information from you:

The program and dates you wish to book,
Your name(s), postal address, tel, fax and email.
If prerequisite required please list related experiences.
To help with planning we also like to have an idea of your age, we need to know any special dietary preferences, any medical conditions you have which we need to know about, will you be bringing or needing help with transportation, list any gear (ie boot rentals) you need along with boot sizes etc.
Confirmation that you want or do not want, cancellation insurance.

Allow an extra 5% for cancellation insurance (optional but recommended)

Payments

We accept Canadian and US personal cheques, money orders and Mastercard and Visa. For weekend programs full payment must accompany booking. For longer programs deposit is 1/3 price. Balance of payment is due 8 weeks before program start. Full payment must accompany bookings made less than 8 weeks before program start. Different conditions apply to Semester Programs and Expeditions. Cancellation coverage premiums (5%) must be paid when first booking.

After Booking: Along with all relevant receipts we will send you a full trip logistical kit (containing meeting times, a list of what to bring and info on how to get here), a sample copy of our waiver which we will ask you to sign when you meet us and, if appropriate an experience questionnaire.

Booking Conditions

Registration is dependent on waiver completion.
Yamnuska Inc. reserves the right to change or cancel any itinerary or service at any time due to weather, conditions or other reasons without penalty to Yamnuska Inc.
The participation of any person on any program is continually subject to the discretion of the program leader and Yamnuska Inc.
Yamnuska Inc. accepts no responsibility for the actions of persons and/or companies supplying goods and/or services as part of these packages or for any extra costs that may arise from the complication or prolongation of any program for any reason.
Your physician must clear any health problems that may affect your participation in any program.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, participants may, depending upon program location be liable for any rescue or evacuation costs incurred either on their behalf or as a result of their actions.

Cancellations and Refunds

Should Yamnuska Inc. cancel a program payment will be refunded.

Should you cancel your booking for any reason the following penalties apply:

If canceling most programs up to 8 weeks before program start $107 will be withheld, higher amounts are withheld if canceling Semesters or Expeditions (details on request).
Between 8 and 6 week before program start deposit is forfeited.
Cancellation less than 6 weeks before program start and during program results in loss of entire amount paid.

Cancellation coverage is available. This, taken at extra cost when you first book, will allow for a full refund should you be forced to cancel for health or medical reasons affecting yourself or members of your immediate family. We strongly recommend you take this coverage.
