Change of summer school uniform - the old worker cover-all replaced by white shirt, blue shorts (boys) and light blue skirt (girls) The original P1 classes become P2A AM and P2B AM. The A.M. section lead by Ying-Kee Mak and the P.M. section lead by Lan-Hing Fok. Each section operated independently. |

The Hong Kong Government announced plans to create a new university, and integrate the high school systems, Chinese Schools would change from 6-3-3 system (Primary 6 years JM 1-3, SM 1-3) to 6-5-1 system (Primary 6 years, M1-M5,
M6 Matriculation) starting September, 1960. The PM Primary section was affected, In September, 1960, all schools operating a Chinese Section were geared to the new agenda. In SPCC the new 1st year high school Chinese Section was called VF 1 (Vernecular Form 1) whilst most other schools simply called it M.1 (Middle 1). |
| September, 1960. | The AM section Primary School Supervisor Mr. Ying-Kee Mak announced his retirement effective 30th August, 1961. The new Supervisor - Miss Kwai-Yam Lee took over on 31st August, 1961. |
| September, 1962. | The P6A/PBB AM section entered the high school F1A/F1B and 2 P6A/P6B PM section enter the high school VF1A/VF1B. There were 60 new retruits, 40 of them assigned to F1C and the rest were assigned to F1A/F1B/VF1A/VF1B, some of the new retruits in F1C did not show up, some students from F!A/F1B were reassigned to F1C to even out the class size. |
