Ambassadors appear in exhibition
from the program of "Impact '85":
On behalf of the Staff, Instructors and Marching Members of The Ambassadors of Newmarket Drum and Bugle Corps, we welcome you to Canada Day Impact '85.
The Ambassadors this year have undergone a tremendous change in Marching Members. Of the 80 young people in our organization performing for you this evening 60 Members joined us on April 18th, 1985. This has put our programme behind slightly but we feel their progress to this point has been outstanding. We hope you agree and acknowledge it with applause.
We would like to give special thanks to Mayor Ray Twinney, The York Region Board of Education and Separate School Board and the teachers for their support of our Youth Marching Programme.
We hope you enjoy the performances this evening of all competing Corps.
The Ambassadors wish all competing Corps best wishes and Good Luck.
Robert G. Middleton,
Executive Director,
The Ambassadors of Newmarket
Drum and Bugke Corps.
