This is a informal newsletter intended for Ambassadors marching members.
It was published in early 1980 and therefore addresses happenings and people
involved in the corps at that time. A lot of the humour is topical and thus
incomprehensible to those who did not march in the corps close to 1980 or
1979. There is a short history of the Ambassadors included from 1974 to
1980 which is of interest. As well there's a description of the Diplomats,
the short-lived feeder corps for the Ambassadors. Many of the members of
the Diplomats turn up in the Ambassadors corps lists of later years. Unfortunately the scans of the photos are poor as the original publication was a photocopy and so the quality of the original photos is poor. The cartoons should be legible. This edition is the one and only as far as I know. If anyone out there has a copy of any other Ambassadors newsletters, I'd love to put them up here too. Hmmm. You know, I think I marched with that guy...
