AFTERWORD
A yearbook was originally started for the '78 season. This yearbook included lengthy summaries for each year of the corps existence, and lots of photos. Result - a yearbook for the Ambassadors (based on the '78 season) as big as the Encyclopaedia Brittanica. Once the final cuts were made (several times) the book was ready - but the first contest of the '79 season was already gone. Then printing costs encouraged further cuts. With these mounting problems, we agreed to drop '78, and concentrate our efforts ( ) on a yearbook for the '79 season. And you now hold the results of these efforts.
Look, read, and remember! It was a great year, and we've done our best to put it on paper. If there are things missed that should have been in please let us know. We are already working on the '80 book, so we would welcome any suggestions on how to improve it. We are looking forward to the coming season with promise - we're bigger, stronger, we have better music and field show, the 'facelifts' to the uniforms, and above all, we are the Ambassadors - let's HYPE!!
Live&Enjoy,
Me & You
