......our corps staff (chefs & instructors) and some older members looked a bit too tough for the 'toughs', and they decided it was the wrong kind of weather for a fight.
Sunday - the last day and the longest. It went by, but oh, so slow. but at the end of it, to the surprise of most, the show was complete - to the end of concert.
Camp '79 was very successful. Everything turned out great, and at the end the instructors were shocked by how everyone caught on so fast. Not only the drill and music, but also that camp is fun!! (Or else!!)

AMBASSADORS' MORE RECENT' NOSTALGIA
.....second last rehearsal in May, some music lovers called the 'cop's', around 7:20 p.m. The rest of the rehearsal time was spent in a beef session.
.....month of June, contest month. The Ambassadors did an anniversary parade on the 2nd - in Niagara Falls. Two weeks from this date is the corps' first contest-the field show is still quite incomplete.
.....Monday, June 4th, the rifle line officially folded.
.....the corps' first public performance (appearance) in Toronto, for the Blue Jays - on the 12th of June.
.....by the end of June the supposed Corps Yearbook still wasn't printed and the idea was scrapped once again. Another try in 1980?
