What type of breeds are Penny and Rusty and Sophie?
Penny is a mixed breed; part German Shepherd and part Siberian Husky. Rusty is a Shetland Sheepdog and has inherited a personality which shows his herding ancestry. Sophie is a Golden Retriever and has alredy begun to show us how much she likes to pick things up.

How can I adopt my own little puppy?
Try going to your local SPCA, pound, or animal shelter. They have many loving animals just looking for the right owner to pick them up. That's where we found our little treasure, Penny. Click here to go to the Vancouver SPCA's web site.

What's a good food to feed my little puppy?
We've fed our puppies everything from Puppy Chow to Pro Plan, Techni-Cal to Eukanuba but each puppy will be a little different. After the dog food scare we decided to switch our puppies back to Techni-Cal because it was made in Canada and the ingredients were one protein and one grain (helps with puppies with allergies). It's best if you can stay away from foods that use corn meal because it's just filler (puppies can't digest corn). Also try to stay away from ingredients that say "animal by-products" since you don't know what type of protein was used (ie. "chicken by-products" is okay because you know it's just chicken - but by-products shouldn't be the first ingredient listed). Right now, we're feeding Sophie a mixture of Evanger's Whitefish and Pheasant dry dog food and we're feeding Rusty a mixture of Fromm's Adult Gold and some canned dog food (Evo or Evanger's)

What type of plants should we keep away from our puppies?
