Amateur Radio

I've been a licensed Amateur Radio operator since 1979. I used my original call sign, VE7CVM from 1979 through 1999, however, I've now been issued a new callsign  VA7DX. SCUBA Diving
I've been diving for over 10 years and I am certified at the advanced level. Locations dived include many of the Carribean Islands, the Honduras, Venezuela, Hawaii and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. In addition to diving, I enjoy both underwater photography and videography.

Sailing
I enjoy sailing whenever the opportunity arises and have chartered bareboats in the 37' to 43' range in the Carribean and the West Coast of Canada - Desolation Sound and the Gulf Islands.

Skiing
Being an hour and a half from Whistler/Blackcomb, who wouldn't be. In addition I've had the opportunity to ski a number of mountains in BC , the French, Italian and Swiss Alps, Washington State and California.

Computers

I've been in the Information Technology sector for over 30 years, however the fun part is playing around with PC's and the internet.
