Rainbow Adventures offers a fully guided steelhead fly fishing experience.

Your guide and master angler Andre Laporte brings to you over 20 years of guiding experience.  His knowledge of the waters and fly patterns (see Bulkley Mouse on our About page) will ensure your successful steelhead adventure.

Your weeklong trip includes 6 days of fishing from Sunday morning through Friday afternoon.

Fishing the Bulkley River in north western British Columbia near the scenic town of Smithers.  The Bulkley River is acclaimed for it's world class steelhead fishing. (look here)

Each day of fishing will cover approximately 7 miles of the Bulkley River in a comfortable new jet boat.  A daily catch per angler is 2-5 steelhead.  While most steelhead average 12 lbs it's not uncommon to hook up with one over 20lbs.

Adventures run through September and October and weekly trips fill up quickly so contact us soon for the best availability.

September is the month for dry fly's.  When October roles around it's usually the time to put on the sinking tips.

Now for the fine print

Each Rainbow Adventure includes

• 6 days of guided fishing

• 1 guide for every two guests

• airport shuttle pick up and return

• on the river meals and snacks
  consisting of fresh sandwiches
  home made soups, snacks & fruit

Not included

• air transportation by
  Air Canada

• lodging at
  Hudson's Bay Lodge or Storks Nest

The Cost

A week of world class steelhead fishing with Rainbow Adventures is $2,900 US per week.  A deposit of 50% is required to reserve your week.  The balance is due upon completion of your trip.
