Introduction

My name is Kimberlee and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I have been involved with rabbits for over 20 years. I got interested in rabbits in a time where there was little information about them and finding a good qualified rabbit savvy veterinarian was hard to     find. I therefore took it upon myself to learn as much as I could from general care to complex medical issues. I studied everything and anything rabbit related. I have also raised two wonderful house rabbits, Harry & Beatrice who lived to be 8 ½ and 9 ½ years respectively and fostered many unwanted/abandoned rabbits.

Over the years, I have came across a lot of abandoned, neglected and abused rabbits as well as a lot of people and/or organizations that knew little or nothing about the proper care of rabbits. I have also found a lot of animosity amongst rabbit owners, rescues and breeders. Therefore, I have dedicated myself to educating others and ensuring the highest level of rabbit care possible while maintaining an unbiased and equitable representation for all facets involved. In doing so, I hope to help people make educated choices before buying a pet rabbit or deciding to breed and show rabbits.

The information and advice I offer is based on my many years of rabbit experiences. Medical advice is given as a guide only, it is not a diagnosis. It is not meant to replace proper qualified care and treatment from your veterinarian. In fact, I highly recommend that if your rabbit is showing any signs of being sick and/or needing medical attention that you get him to a veterinarian as soon as possible. I take no responsibility for the use or misuse of any information found in this website.
