Rabbit World Records Longest EarsNovember 1, 2003: The longest ears measured 79 cm (31.125 in) on an English Lop named Nipper's Geronimo in Wichita, Kansas, USA. The rabbit is owned by Waymon and Margaret Nipper of Bakersfield, California, USA. Most Ears A wild rabbit found in Bakersfield, California in August of 2007 had 4 ears.
Highest & Longest Recorded Jumps A Danish rabbit is the current world record holder for both the long jump, at 9.8 feet (3 meters), and the high jump, at 3.4 feet (one meter).
The official world record in high jump for rabbits is 995 millimetres (39.17 in). The official world record in long jump for rabbits is 3000 millimetres (118.11 in).
Largest Litter 1978 a New Zealand rabbit, belonging to J. Filek of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, gave birth to 24 kits.
December 30, 1997: A New Zealand White/Californian cross rabbit, belonging to Peter Maur, named "Motherload gave birth to a litter of 26 kits. Out of the 26 kits, 2 were stillborn and 24 survived. Although this record never made it into the Guinness Book of World Records, it is still a world record nonetheless.
May of 1999: A second New Zealand rabbit, belonging to Cypriot Dimitri Andreov Hadjiprodromou also gave birth to 24 kits.
Oldest Living Pet Rabbit As of 2005 A dwarf rabbit named Sniffles, from Knoxville, Tennessee, was born February 1991
As of 2006 A Netherlands Dwarf / Mini Lop cross breed named Lucy Honeychurch was brought home March 15, 1990, having been born earlier that same year. This record never made it into the Guinness Book of World Records.
