Look Out!!
Look out, the Hornet is on a tear. After stiffening up his front end the night before, on Sunday he rode like a bat out of hell. His learning curve also made a huge leap. After numerous laps around the track at Lansdowne Shopping Center, the Hornet looked down at the side of his exhaust pipe and said " Wholly shit!!", after further inspection, he was referring to the wear on the exhaust that had worn away from scraping on the ground. But that wasn't all that was scraped. His leathers got scraped up again, only he claims it wasn't his fault. " I was coming down the back straight on the inside, there was no way anyone could have been any more inside, ( so he thought!,). Just as I was entering the turn I was T-boned by the number 29 rider. As I opened my eyes ( What the hell were they doing shut, maybe that's why you got hit) all I saw was a tire, and damned if it didn't run over my head. " ( lets see some scuffs on your helmet then.). He came out of it with a little boo boo on his arm and a headache ( for who, me from all his complaining about #29 for not apologizing or him from getting "run over"). The Hornet also learned that ( when you keep your eyes open) he is definitely in need of a Fox rear shox. He claims this will decrease his lap times and yes, drain his wallet. We'll see what happens in 2 weeks. The Hornet rides again on the 28th of May. I encourage all to come out and see this!!
Razor Qualifies on Front Row!
This was one of Razors best qualifying sessions of his young career. Razor managed to get himself on the front row of qualifying in the GP Open class. "I can't believe it, I was just racing as usual, trying to go faster into the corners and harder coming out. The corners are what I really need to practice on." That's not all he needs to practice, how about not using the brakes so much, racing is cheaper if you don't have to replace them. The Razor also would like to thank #911 for his riding tips ( and also for running out of gas in qualifying enabling Razor to get on the first row). All this excitement must have rattled the Razor. He then went on to drop to 8th place by the time the race was over. Oh well, he still gained valuable points over his teammate Hornet. But the Hornet claims he will be after the Razor once he gets his rear shock. When Razor was asked about this he said; " Once he gets his shock, our bikes will be identical. Lets just say, He's run out of excuses now."
That's it for now, next race Sunday May 28th. Stay tuned. Ed.
