Games start at 8:00 a.m. with competitions in Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, and Heavy Field Events. These events require prior entry. A number of vendors will be selling their Scottish wares. Some clans will set up information booths. A children’s play area will feature supervised activities and a beer garden will offer ongoing entertainment throughout the afternoon. A shortbread contest is also available at our Games. You are invited to bring a sample of “Granny’s Special Recipe” to enter. There is no prior registration or entry fee for this contest. Sheep Dog Trials will take place on Saturday and are a great attraction.
