Organic agriculture is the oldest form of agriculture
in human history. It addresses a wide range of issues, from conservation
of biodiversity to justice and social equity, by rethinking the fundamental:
food.
As a countercurrent to the post-WW2 Green Revolution,
organic agriculture took popular power during the 1960s. Since then, growing
health and environmental awareness has brought organic products onto the
shelves of major retailers such as METRO and Provigo.
