Foot, Hand & Ear Reflexology Courses

Course Description

Professional Advanced Reflexology Foot, Hand & Ear Certification Course (60 Hours Classroom + 60 Hours Practicum = 120 Hours Total) (Accredited by the College of Massage Therapists of B.C. for Continuing Education and Professional Development – CE/PD 24.0 Credits)

The objective of this program is to give clear guidelines for the student to achieve a level of professional competency in the field of Reflexology. In this course you will learn a new technique for working the feet, hands & ears. This technique is much gentler on the practitioner's hands yet at the same time deeply works the reflex areas giving powerful results. Course certification will enable you to practice Reflexology as a profession in British Columbia. Course notes provided. Bring two towels and skin creme.

The Foot Reflexology Module goes into the theory and concentrates on the practice of foot reflexology. We will endeavor to understand and practice the basic ideals and techniques of foot reflexology. We will study the definition, benefits, effects and theories of foot reflexology and how foot reflexology relieves stress and tension. Through hands-on practice we will be well versed with the reflex points in the feet that correspond to every area of the body. We will also study human anatomy and system disorders and how to work on them. Referral areas, foot conditions and contraindications are explained. How to setup a reflexology business and practice at a professional level are studied. At the completion, you will be able to complete a timed foot reflexology session on a client.

The Hand Reflexology Module focuses on the techniques and practice of hand reflexology. We will use basic hand reflexology techniques to relax and increase the circulation in the hands, wrists and arms that can benefit hand and wrist problems along with manipulating the reflex points in the hands that correspond to every area of the body. The definition, benefits and theories and how hand reflexology relieves stress and tension are studied. At the completion, you will be able to complete a timed hand reflexology session on a client.

The Ear Reflexology Module concentrates on methods and techniques used to complete an ear reflexology session.

This course introduces students to the basic hand reflexology techniques used to relax and increase the circulation in the hands, wrists and arms that can benefit hand and wrist problems along with manipulating the reflex points in the hands that correspond to every area of the body. In this course you will learn a new technique for working the hands. This technique is much gentler on the practitioner's hands yet at the same time deeply works the reflex areas giving powerful results. The Reflexology Hand Chart and how it relates to the human body will be explained. Students will complete a hand reflexology session on a partner. Course notes provided. Bring two towels and skin creme.

Introduction to Foot Reflexology (6 Hours Classroom)

This course is an introduction to what foot reflexology is about. In this course you will learn a new technique for working the feet. This technique is much gentler on the practitioner's hands yet at the same time deeply works the reflex areas giving powerful results. The Reflexology Foot Chart and how it relates to the human body is explained. Students will complete a foot reflexology session on a partner using foot relaxation exercises and reflexology techniques. Course notes provided. Bring two towels and skin creme.
