| What is Reflexology? | |
|
Reflexology is a non-invasive health technique that recognizes
that the Feet, Hands and Ears reflect the whole body. Applying pressure
to reflex areas in the Feet, Hands and Ears creates a physiological change in
the body by increasing the circulation and relaxing the whole
body. This relieves stress and tension, deeply relaxing
the whole body from head to toe. |

| What is Hand Reflexology? | |
|
Hand Reflexology is a pressure point technique used to stimulate reflex areas of
the hands that relax and stimulate every part of the body. The techniques used in Hand Reflexology are
almost the same as in Foot Reflexology.
Hand Reflexology is a great substitute to working on the feet and can be used when working on the
hand is more convenient or if the feet are injured or amputated. It is recognized that working on the hands
can be just as useful as working on the feet and the practice of Hand
Reflexology is developing. |
|
| What is Ear Reflexology? | |
|
Ear reflexology is the most recent development in reflexology, and it has evolved
out of ‘Auricular Therapy” or acupuncture of the ears. Ear reflexology is the science, study and art
of touching the ear using specific touch techniques that stimulate the reflex areas
that correspond to all the other parts of the body, including the glands and
organs. This stimulation balances and harmonizes the functioning of these parts
of the body, and thereby facilitates healing. |
