FOODSAFE Abbotsford 604-302-5569 Our Certified FOODSAFE Instructors Reg and Lynn Burks have over forty years of combined experience in the food service industry. Reg Burks As well as teaching FOODSAFE since 1996, Reg designed The Salvation Army's Cascade Culinary Arts School program in Abbotsford and was the program's Head Chef Instructor for 15 years. The charter class consisted of four students; now the program hosts up to sixteen students at a time and is accredited by PCTIA. It provides the opportunity for students to obtain Levels One and Two Chef Apprenticeship Program equivalency. Reg is now the Director of Skills Training at The Salvation Army's Gateway Culinary Arts School in Langley.
Lynn Burks was in the restaurant business for over twelve years. During that time she was co-owner of a 120-seat fine dining restaurant. Lynn is the administrator for FOODSAFE Abbotsford. She holds a British Columbia Provincial Instructor Diploma and is certified by the Province of British Columbia as a FOODSAFE Instructor.
