Capitola's Tiffany Diamond
#107732
American Saddlebred mare

1984 chestnut sabino mare
Fanny stands 15.3 HH barefoot, is trained to ride and is a consistent producer of BIG 5 gaited foals. She is the jewel in our broodmare band - a veritable diamond in the breed. This year has seen her make friends with her grand-daughter, Renaissance Promise. It is with great pride that we see a 3rd generation from Fanny here at Renaissance Farm, and this filly has appropriately been named Promise.
Capitola's Tiffany Diamond has produced five foals for us to date, photos and more info below, or see a quick list of Fanny's foals :
Her son Renaissance Poet was foaled in 1996.

Renaissance Poet
(DJ's Celebration x Capitola's Tiffany Diamond)
Fanny's 1996 colt, now gelded.
This horse IS the standard and is a fine example of the type of horses produced by Renaissance Farm.
Poet has been purchased by the Vancouver (BC) City Police for use in their mounted squad. They were attracted to his "quiet and unflapple disposition and his superb conformation".

In 1997 Fanny produced the tall chestnut filly Renaissance Reflection. (Worthy Reflection x Capitola's Tiffany Diamond) We called this filly "Mame" because her elegance reminds us of Rosalind Russel playing "Auntie Mame." With her look-at-me attitude, sport horse type conformation and size, and a personality that just loves everyone, Mame is a show prospect supreme. A five gaited filly who has matured over 17.1HH, Mame enjoyed a show career in WA state. Sadly, Mame has never bred on.
Fanny produced a stunning big buckskin colt by Holly Akala Banner, the exotic rare buckskin Saddlebred stallion in 1998. Named Renaissance Accolade, this is a colt with a destiny. We are sure he will make history in the breed! (He already has, being the first foal by this important stallion to arrive in Canada.) Strong moving, and 5 gaited, Accolade is a breath-taking Saddlebred stallion. Accolade was sold to a then Certified John Lyon's trainer Jennifer Lyle of WI and has since disappeared. If you know the whereabouts of this stallion, please let us know. We would like to know he is well, and to use the retained breedings we own to him. Additionally, we are concerned that no one has been able to contact Jennifer for several years.

In 2002 Fanny produced a full brother to Accolade, a stunning red roan colt named Legacy who hasbeen retained as the herd sire at Renaissance Farm.
In Y2K Fanny produced a sensational big red chestnut son sired by WGC CH Sky Watch. We named this young gelding Renaissance Watchman. Sired by an incomparable 5 gaited Champion stallion, and out of this mare, we expect great things from Watchman both in ths show ring and in his new home.
Fanny was re-bred to Holly Akala B anner for an April 2002 foal and produced a superb red roan colt whom we have named Renaissance Legacy. We have retained this fine young stallion to carry on the Evergreen Farm bloodlines here at Renaissance Farm. We can not say enough about this wonderful young stallion. Visit him yourself to see the very best in Saddlebred breeding. Legacy is a full brother to Renaissance Accolade.
Legacy's first foal crop arrived in 2005 - two fine fillies, the chocolate brown Renaissance Promise, and the palomino Bequest. In 2006 Legacy sired the stunning red dun colt Renaissance Thunder out of the Thunder Island daughter Thunder's Lightning Bug. We are retaining Thunder as a Jr. Herd sire. We are extremely excited about this colt and expect a great show record from him. Check him out at stud beginning in 2008 - there is no better pedigree available in Canada at this time.
Fanny will be bred in 2007 with hopes she will produce a replacement filly.
