Two Divas - Diva, the dam, and her filly Maia, foaled in May 2005 & named for the first goddess of spring, for whom the month of May was named.
Star's Golden Love is related to Holly Akala Banner and his get here at Renaissance Farm and to the mare Miss Wonder Boy's Dare who produced 3 foals by Holly Akala Banner, and one by his son Renaissance Legacy. Diva was broke to ride and was a valuable addition to the Saddlebred population in our area. She was bred to Renaissance Legacy for a 2005 foal and blessed us with
Renaissance Promise - a chocolate Brown filly who shows the promise of her pedigree, shown with her dam in the photo above.
Diva was re-bred to Legacy for a 2006 full sibling to ouR Promise. Unfortunately, a heart attack ended Diva's life in January 2006. This beautiful mare graced our farm for too short a time, before leaving us with us with a filly and the lesson that the now is all there is and it should be enjoyed, treasured and shared.
