Through her sire Promise is a grand-daughter of Dressage Champion Holly Akala Banner and Capitola's Tiffany Diamond.

Banner has moved to RI to continue his Dressage show career, and is also registered as an Americana Sport Horse.

Fanny still dwells here as the matriarch of Renaissance Farm. She is one of our favorite riding horses.

Foaled May 17th, 2005, Promise is known at home as "Maia" after the first goddess of spring for whom the month of May was named.

Maia is now celebrating the birth of a half brother, sired by Renaissance Legacy, Renaissance Thunder arrived in late March 2006
