We're very easy to talk to and we're always prepared to consider alternative arrangements. If you have any comments, questions, or special needs, please don't hesitate to write or e-mail us.

Shipping and Taxes

If you want us to use a different shipper, we will do our best to accomodate you. Shipping charges may be higher with other shippers. We will only use shipping methods that provide a tracking number.

 

To the United States

Taxes, Fees & Dutyextra

You will not normally have to pay duty on small personal orders. However, only U.S. Customs can make the final determination. Under U.S. law is is your responsibility to pay the costs associated with importing goods.

We will consider other shipping methods if you ask us to, but be aware that some shippers charge additional fees to process your purchase through customs. We will only use shipping methods that provide a tracking number.

 

Payment

We accept payment by money order, certified cheque, or personal cheque. Personal cheques must be cleared by our bank before we can ship an order.

If your shipping address is in Canada, please send your payment in Canadian dollars. If your shipping address is in the United States, please send your payment in US dollars.

Orders

Every batch of fibre Barbara dyes has a unique colour pattern and produces enough fibre for only a few kits. Our stock is constantly changing so please wait until we confirm your order before sending any payment.

To place an order ...

  1. Order one or more items using our order form (Canada | US).
  2. We will hold the item(s) you ordered and send you a confirmation by e-mail.* We will confirm that we still have the items you requested and that we have your correct shipping address. We'll also give you a total price including shipping and handling.
  3. Send us your cheque or money order and a copy of your confirmation. You are not committed to buying an item until you have sent your payment.
  4. If you decide to cancel the order, just sent us an e-mail to say you changed your mind and we'll place the item(s) back in stock.

* If you haven't heard back from us within 24 hours, check our home page to see if we're on vacation or attending a fibre event. If that's not the case, send us a quick e-mail saying you haven't heard from us. No need to re-submit your order again.

As soon as we receive your payment we will send your order and let you know that it is on its way. If you pay by personal cheque we will send the order as soon as your cheque has cleared.

Refunds

If your order is lost or damaged in transit we will either replace it or refund your money (including all shipping charges). If your kit hasn't shown up in a reasonable time, let us know. If it's damaged, tell us the moment you discover the damage; we will tell you how to return the item and arrange for a refund or replacement.

If you discover your kit is not what you expected or you think it is beyond your capabilities, you may return it for a refund (including all shipping charges). Contact us for a return authorization before shipping it back. Please note: We cannot offer a refund if you have begun knitting or have wound the skein into a ball.
