Our home was originally
one of the area ranch homes, and was built in the early 1900s. We
moved it to our farm in 1995 and restored it in keeping with the period
during which it was built. Made with hand hewn logs, and fir flooring
it radiates the warmth and charm of the day.
The
old woodstove remains prominent in the kitchen/dining room, providing a cosy
atmosphere to enjoy your breakfast. A variety of breakfast menus
are served - catering to your preferences. Home made muffins and
breads, farm fresh eggs, and quality breakfast meats go into making your
day start off right!
You
will stay in the original log cabin,
ancillary
to the main house - giving you privacy and the best view on the property!
Your rooms have been finished in keeping with the frontier theme, and lend
themselves to a romantic
get away or an exciting frontier farm
vacation for
the family. There is a
private bedroom off the living room, and the loft
upstairs sleeps three to
four, so there is plenty of room for the
whole family.
The kitchenette is equipped with a
fridge, toaster oven, and utensils for your
convenience.
 From
here you can spend your day
exploring the area,
experiencing farm life, taking a swim or
catching a trout in the river, or just
relaxing in an armchair with
that book you have been meaning to read!
