Celebrating 40 years

The Pacific Northwest Labour History Association is pleased to announce our 40th annual conference Indigenous, Immigrant, Migrant Labour & Globalization at Simon Fraser University Harbour Centre in Vancouver, BC, from June 6 to 8, 2008. The conference is presented in collaboration by the PNLHA and the Labor & Working Class History Association (LAWCHA), and is sponsored by the Simon Fraser University Centre for Labour Studies. The 2008 PNLHA calendar is dedicated to 2007 Labor Person of the Year, Ed Barnes from IBEW 48, and the Making Labor History Award winner, the Labor Education and Research Center at the University of Oregon.

Join the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre
The Workers Arts and Heritage Centre (WAHC) preserves and celebrates the arts, culture and heritage of working people in Canada. It is located in the historic Custom House in Hamilton, Ontario, but its activities reach across the country through travelling exhibits and research projects. The WAHC receives funding for projects, but depends on memberships and donations to pay administrative costs.
