Hello, my name is Janice, and I'm one of Joy's daughters.
To let you know a little about me, I'm a middle-aged mother of three children (the last one having just moved out to university recently) and work as a police dispatcher. The years of parenting and working long hours had, of course, worked their toll on me physically, and three years ago, I decided I wanted to get back in shape and improve my overall health. Who knew at the time I would go so much further?

A couple years ago, I ran my first half-marathon in Victoria:

The New York run will be my first full marathon -- I look forward to the challenge and am honoured to be able to run it in my mother's name to help support MS.
