Right now I drive an '87 Mercury Cougar LS. It's old, has 132,000miles, and shows it.
It has silver paint, with grey interior, which is stock. For being a stock LS, the car has
power: Windows, Door locks, Driver seat (6-way), Trunk, Fuel Door, Mirrors, and cruise.
My current system isn't much, but it works. I've spent around $400 TOTAL for everything.
I bought the car with its nice 6yr old Kenwood 2" in dash, and 6x8's in the rear, but that
wasn't good enough for me. I bought a Pioneer7000 for $180, and that helped... a little =)
But I needed bass! Lucky me, I came across a great deal. 2 Orion225HCCA's for FREE!, and
2 10" oldschool Kickers in a full range box for FREE! Well, the kickers are almost blown,
so I bought 2 12" Pioneer400watters and a box off of a friend for $70. Now that brings my
total to $250. I then got 15' of Rockford Fosgate White Wolf RCA for $20, and about 20' of
4gauge Rockford Fosgate wire for $25 (I coulda got cheaper, but it was there). I got that
pretty little Fosgate power distro block for $3 ($50elsewhere hehe), and ground block for $1
Now my total comes to $299. Finally, I bought a Line Driver/Bridging module so I can bridge
my amp, and get the full 400watts out of it. My new total is up over $400 as I said earlier.
The guts to one of my amps. Stupid thing HAD to blow up didn't it!!

A nice view of my trunk, and subs. Those subs get louder than you'd think.

Then we move to a nice overview shot of my amps and RW Audio Line Driver.

This wouldn't be an install page if I left out the wiring now would it?
The blocks are mounted to the box containing the kickers. They face the back seat.
