AutoWindow Cool+ has the same remote window commands as Classic model plus it has a built-in Heat Sensor for adjustable temperature venting. Cool+ can be commanded to work while you are away to prevent the parked
car from becoming an oven! Or use regular VENT and CLOSE remote window commands when temperature control is not desired. The choice
is yours each time you leave the car - just use the AutoWindow command
that does what you want.
THERMO-CYCLE closes windows and sunroof then monitors interior temperature. It will
vent windows if it becomes too hot inside. Monitoring continues and windows
close if the interior cools off sufficiently. This cycle repeats as necessary,
ignoring small or brief temperature fluctuations to avoid excessive window
operation and battery drain.
THERMO-CLOSE closes sunroof and keeps windows vented so long as air circulation is
required to let hot air out. It will close windows once a cool interior
temperature is reached for a prolonged period. This command does not vent
windows again after closing them.
Nite Sense option adds more function to Cool+ THERMO commands. Nite Sense closes
THERMO vented windows at nightfall (low light condition) and keeps windows closed in darkness no matter how hot it gets inside the car. Nite Sense allows THERMO-CYCLE to resume venting the next
day (temperature permitting) but keeps THERMO-CLOSE windows shut after
closing. For safety, Nite Sense does not interfere with or close windows
in any other circumstance. Nite sense does not operate with VENT, ONE-TOUCH
VENT, or on windows which have simply been left open.
Rain Sense option works with all venting modes of Cool+, including: THERMO-CYCLE and THERMO-CLOSE, VENT,
and ONE-TOUCH VENT. No matter which AutoWindow command is used to vent
windows, Rain Sense will shut the vented windows and keep them closed if
it rains! For safety, Rain Sense does not interfere with or close windows
under any other circumstances. Nite Sense and Rain Sense when ordered together
for Cool+ work together for THERMO commands.

AutoWindow Brite has all Basic remote window commands plus headlight illumination
features to light your walkway at night.
Feel safer around your car in the dark and
see the path for sure footing. Arming or
disarming the car using any remote command
in the dark turns on headlights (HIGH or
LOW beams - your choice). AutoWindow extinguishes
lights in 15 seconds, or when you get in
and close the driver's door - whichever occurs
first.
You can now specify an increase to 30, or 45 second headlight illumination.
Please indicate at time of order, or the default of 15 seconds will be
used.
AutoWindow Brite includes Nite Sense to prevent AUTO-BRITE headlights from coming on during the day - when
illumination is not needed. A small light sensor mounts on the door to
monitor ambient light coming in through the windows.

AUTO-BRITE and BRITE-NOW are designed to work only if the car is parked

AutoWindow Brite
AutoWindow TT/RS has all the Basic remote window commands plus special features for cars with aTurbo Timer and a Remote Starter. TT/RS works for all 1998+up car models with any brand of turbo timer and solves the security problem of arming the car after
turbo timer cooldown on the 1.8T. AutoWindow locks and arms the car - and it can even roll up windows! TT/RS also supports aftermarket Remote
Car Starters that have auxiliary input to trigger the start/stop sequence.
AutoWindow lets you use the car remote to start the car!
With TT/RS you don't hack into your fuse box or immobilizer circuitry and
there is no risk of tripping AIR BAG check light or other diagnostic sensors
- unlike other turbo timeout approaches you'll find out there. Be kind
to you car and get TT/RS.

TURBO commands are designed to work only after the driver exits the car
with engine running. For driver and occupant safety TURBO commands don't function unless the driver has exited the car prior
to the TT shutting the ignition off. If the driver remains seated or is
exiting (door open) when the TT cuts ignition AutoWindow will not lock, arm, or perform window / sunroof actions.
After exiting the car with TT running you may take any of the following
actions:
1) walk away and let AutoWindow lock, arm, (and optionally CLOSE) when the TT cuts off,
2) lock the car using key (won't arm), walk away and let AutoWindow arm
(and optionally CLOSE),
3) lock and use key to roll up windows / sunroof (won't arm), then let
AutoWindow arm,
4) unlock using the key, so AutoWindow does nothing when the TT cuts off,
car stays open,
5) unlock using key, pause 2 seconds, re-lock using key (won't arm), and
AutoWindow does nothing when TT cuts.
TURBO commands do nothing if the driver exits the car after the TT shuts off. In this case, use the key or remote normally to lock
and arm the car. Or you can use an AutoWindow command like ONE-TOUCH UP to lock, arm, and roll up windows & close sunroof - all with one press
of the remote LOCK button!
Some Turbo Boost Controllers and Remote Car Starters have a built-in cool
down period (delayed ignition shutoff feature). AutoWindow TT/RS works the same with these devices and all dedicated turbo timers like
APEXi, HKS, Greddy, etc. AutoWindow TT/RS retains compatibility with your Remote Car Starter's
remote and its other functions - you may use either remote for starting
the car.
Configure TT/RS from the remote using SETUP. You can temporarily remove all TURBO commands and AutoWindow features
for vehicle servicing and enable them later - it takes less than a minute.
AutoWindow TT/RS
Classic is now offered in Universal fit to work in any vehicle. (See FAQ for details). All of the same Classic functions and optional sensors also work on Universal fit models!
AutoWindow Classic has an extensive list of convenient remote window commands. OPEN, CLOSE, VENT (vent gap adjustable), STOP, RETRACT, ONE-TOUCH UP (VENT or CLOSE selectable), VENT-CLOSE, and SETUP/programming are discussed in detail on the features page.
Classic has the widest range of configurable options to satisfy the most
demanding needs. SETUP uses the alarm LED on driver's door to show option settings and guide you through the selection
process. Classic can be tuned to make windows do precisely what you want
from the remote.
Rain Sense option for Classic works on all venting modes. Rain Sense closes vented windows if it rains. For safety
Rain Sense does not interfere with or close windows under any other circumstances.
Rain Sense includes a sensor that mounts on the inside of the windshield near the rear view mirror. Just peel and stick! All necessary
tools and cables are included for the job of connecting to the AutoWindow
module. Rain Sense monitors for moisture hitting the windshield. All venting
commands are protected by Rain Sense. Response to rain takes only a few
seconds for closing vented windows under wet conditions.
Classic is the original and best selling remote window controller of all
time!
AutoWindow Classic
AutoWindow Basic has the essential remote window commands. OPEN, CLOSE, STOP, RETRACT, ONE-TOUCH UP (CLOSE only) and SETUP mode selection. Basic offers the most popular features and comes with
three predefined option modes: Default, POWER Pack, or Off. POWER Pack
enables ONE-TOUCH UP (CLOSE) and removes the 15 second time limit of the CLOSE command.
Basic is simple and configures fast. There is less to remember and it is
the easiest model to use!
AutoWindow Basic
AutoWindow Reflex is designed specifically for cars with exterior folding mirrors, as featured
on SEAT Leon Cupra R and high-line VW Golf / Bora. Reflex has remote mirror
folding and remote window commands all in one package! Integrated control
lets you do things like press one button (LOCK) to: lock and arm and fold mirrors and roll up windows and close sunroof when leaving the car. Never forget to fold mirrors again!
Unlocking commands unfold mirrors so the car is ready to drive when you
get inside. With different Reflex commands you choose to control locks
only, or locks and mirrors, or locks and mirrors and windows! The interior
folding switch retains its function so it may be used for un/folding as
well.

AutoWindow Reflex commands are mindful of commonly performed tasks while leaving or approaching
the car. ONE-TOUCH commands are very convenient for un/folding mirrors each time without
having to think about it! Like all AutoWindow models, Reflex also offers
STOP and RETRACT commands to halt/reverse/prevent window travel for safety or convenience - see features.
Use SETUP/configuration from the remote to quickly change between three modes of
operation: Default operation, POWER Pack option, or Off.

Rain Sense is an option for Cool+ and Classic
models. This sensor mounts inside the windshield near the rear view
mirror. Measuring about 1.5" square, it simply sticks in place. Cable
supplied connect to the AutoWindow module. See photo install at this link. When it rains this option will close vented windows automatically! |
