ANTARES IS FOR SALE
She
is an F31R, designed by Ian Ferrier, built in 2001 by Corsair Marine. She
is trailerable, very stable, unsinkable and very, very fast, capable of speeds
in excess of 20kts. She folds up effortlessly for trailering. The interior is
very comfortable, even for extended cruising, including an enclosed head and a
full galley.
Sails - All UK Gold Series Fully battened mainsail with Fredricson roller bearing car system. Roller furling Jib System. The mainsail was designed to be more high performance. The jib is a roller furling cut with a sun protected cover. It is very powerful and easy to control. The main and jib are both heavy made using a Kevlar and Carbon Tape Drive construction, which should provide a long life with little or no distortion. The boat has a UK Screecher, Screecher Furling System, and a UK Spinnaker, all spinnaker gear with a Carbon Fibre retracting bowsprit. The boat is equipped with slab reefing and lazy jacks as well as a lazy cradle.
Accommodations - This is a great interior for the "R" model. There is a forepeak berth area separate from a head compartment port side. The main salon has a galley module to starboard. There are two long bench seats that can be used for berths. The interior is nicely finished.
