AOSA Membership

WHO - AOSA membership is open to anyone interested in boating.  If you have an opinion, you are especially welcome, for an opinion adds spice to a meeting! 

DUES - Membership costs $20.⁰⁰ per person per year, from Jan 1 to Dec 31. 

WHY - The privileges of an AOSA membership include the following:

1. Six spiffy winter meetings usually with a guest speaker or two.

2. The right to use any of the 12 AOSA moorings at Wabamun Lake.

3. May purchase the Wabamun Lake chart and waypoint table at member rates.

4. May attend an AOSA course at member rates.

5. May attend our social functions held throughout the year at member rates.

6. A CYA membership may be included for those of you who cannot get one through your club. CYA membership 
   CYA membership is required to race your boat in a sanctioned race. It may have other financial benefits.

7. A 10% discount of your charter at Cooper Boating Centre with the presentation of your membership card.

This package is a bargain so come to a meeting and join in the camaraderie to exchange ideas with fellow sailors!   Membership cards will be issued.

1 APPLICATION FORM - Please complete all the fields in the membership application form and print it. Then bring the form, with a cheque, to the next meeting and give them to the Treasurer who will present you with your AOSA membership card. 
NOTE: If you don't have internet access, your name will be placed on the snail mail distribution system.

2 DISTRIBUTION LIST - To complete your membership, please subscribe to the AOSA Distribution List. This way you will receive the timely notices which is a convenient way of keeping yourself abreast of lake events.
