Welcome to RainCity's Blood Bowl League

We are a bunch of coaches who get together once per week to fight for the position of Champion and win  the coveted Mystic Cup. 

At our site, you will find images of various teams, players, team logos, and pitches. You can also follow the standings, review league records and check out the hall of fame. We also have a links page to various other Blood Bowl related sites. There is also a How To page that will have various projects that you can do too.

Thirty two stars... two teams... all for one goal! Glory! Watch as two teams with the greatest stars of Season One collide in a match that will surely be one of excitement.

"Welcome Folks to Wednesday Night Bloodbowl brought to you by the VBBA. The home of the RainCity Blood Bowl League. My name's Jim and with me is Bubba. We bring you the highlights of last Wednesday's match-ups" 
"Right Jim, it was an odd night as every team tied. No real winners, but then again... no real losers either. All teams must be happy that no one fell behind."

"Let's talk about the match between the Sentari's Shadows and Ingwe Ancalimon. Humans vs. Elves."
"Right Jim, it was perfect Bloodbowl weather and these two teams showed off their speed. Lots of great plays... just none of them were real hits. These two teams were about finesse and scoring."
"Ingwe started it all off with #2 Wardancer who scored their first TD in Turn 6 of the first half. But that didn't go unanswered as the Shadow's #14 Blitzer returned the favour by scoring at the end of the half."
"Right Jim, it was faced pace action. Shortly into the second half the Shadows put on the pressure and #10 Catcher scores a TD on the third turn. The shadows were caught off guard as Ingwe's #2 Wardancer shows his awesome talent and scored his second TD of the night in two turns. Then the Shadows answered back with yet another TD from #10 Catcher, showing up #3 Wardancer... again in two turns. It's 3-2 for the Shadows and just as you thought it was in the bag for the Shadows, Ingwe's #1 Wardancer scored the tieing TD. The game ends in a 3 - 3 tie. What a Game!"

"That brings us to the match between the Enforcers of Chaos and the Mainland Maulers."
"Right Jim, and what a match it was. Chaos vs. Ogres! Another beautiful day for Bloodbowl... and this time there was plenty of hitting!"
"#12 Lord Gunther of the Enforcers began the roughthousing as he sent #16 Ogre off for the rest of the game. Down by an Ogre it wasn't looking good for the Maulers. Just as things seemed dim for the Maulers, it got worse. #12 Lord Gunther was on a roll and sent #13 Ogre into the crowd... where all the Chaos fans were. #13 Ogre was beaten enough that he could no longer take part in the match. #15 Lord Tyrannus took full advantage of the situation and scored the first TD of the game on the last turn of the first half."
"Right Jim, and now the Maulers received the ball in the second half and they were down two Ogres. They had to pull themselves together. The Snotlings had to come up with a plan... and they did just that. The Snotlings were distracting the Enforcers as #15 Gobby Gutchewer eyed up #12 Lord Gunther and with a mighty blow, fractured #12 Lord Gunther's leg. Needless to say #12 Lord Gunther would be out for the rest of the game."
"You could feel the frustration of the Enforcers as they lost one of the Chaos Warriors to a cheap blow. #15 Gobby Gutchewer again threw a nasty block on #7 Baaa, one of the Enforcers beastmen. #7 Baaa was out for the rest of the game. With the Enforcers caught off guard, #5 Lucky, the Mauler's little Snotling scores a TD in the middle of the second half. The Maulers kick to the Enforcers and right away #15 Lord Tyrannus charges #10 Snotling and knocks him flying... taking him out of the game. With 4 more turns left in the second half, neither team was able to capatalize and the game ends in a 1 - 1 tie. 
"Right Jim, lots of hitting made this game any bloodthirsty goon's cup of blood!"
