Time: 6:30 pm
This event will be hosted by the Southern Alberta Model Railway Club in the clubroom located at 10 Avenue A and 15th Street South in Lethbridge. Our building is in Gyro Park just a short walk from 10 Avenue A. Look for the club sign on the wall of our brown club building.
The SAMRC operates the Alberta Southern railway, a 40 inches X 16 inches HO scale system set in the era of the mid 1960s. Most motive power is first generation diesel with a few second generation SD 40s thrown in. Steam locomotives are used occasionally on passenger excursions.
Since early 2007 we have run the layout on Digitrax DCC and some locomotive have sound.
We invite all those delegates that are interested to join in our operating session this evening. A club member will assist each operator to compete their assigned task.
Also on display will be the clubs N Scale portable layout approximately 12 inches X 3 inches. All track is completed and operational. There are a number of nice structures on the layout and scenery is completed except for some fine detailing.

Registration and display set up will begin at 8:00 AM.
Contest entries and Achievement Program entries will also be accepted. Contest categories will be the same as all other 6th Division Meets. Since most photographs today are digital, we will only have a print category for photos. There will be no colour slide category.
Clinics will begin at 9:00 AM and go until noon.
Afternoon will consist of layout tours to 7 Lethbridge area home railroads.
There will be a steak BAR B Q in the evening.
