Original Characters

Jakrath - He's a black dragon who appears in "Do what you have to do". Jakrath is actually my husband's screen name, and I've always liked it. Basically, I needed a dragon that wasn't Melgasia and I just had to give him a name. So, I acted automatically and gave him a name I had always liked.

Dagzelis - Zelgadis' shadow from "Shadow Magic - Zelgadis and Amelia". It's obviously a reorganization of the word 'Zelgadis'. Zelgadis means zeal, and I always like to take that word to the next level to mean passion - which is why I do anything, so Dagzelis means the same thing.

Tidus Crossman - Crossman is a name that will appear countless times within my original work, but I hadn't used it in fanfic yet. Basically, I was using the last name as a tool to help me take this character seriously when he appeared in "One Night". As for the Tidus part . . . well, I don't pretend to be thinking anything except for how good the graphics were in Final Fantasy X.

Ataru - My beloved white mage for "Shadow Magic - Xellos and Lina". I honestly put more thought into his creation than my usual original characters. Why do I love him? Because, he makes the story possible.

Xellica - This is actually Potipher's wife's name in the Old Testiment. It isn't mentioned in the King James Version though, so check out the Book of Jasher if you're interested. She's Zelas' General in "Shadow Magic - Xellos and Lina".

Xylia - Zelas' Priest from "Shadow Magic - Xellos and Lina". This is what I plan to name one of my daughters - whenever I happen to have one. I'm also trying to sneak in as many references to this future fic as I can, because it is going to be AWESOME.

Leal - Zelgadis' cousin from "Fingers of Love". So, I wanted to piss Zelgadis off - sue me!
