Saskia is a founding member of the Originals Only Show and exhibits all of her available work in this show twice a year.  The summer show is always in early August and is an outdoor event in Comox Marina Park.  The winter show is always in early December and is indoors in the Comox Rec Centre.

The  Originals Only Show and Sale has just received "The Best New Tourism Product" Award by the Comox Valley Tourism Society.

The Originals Only Fine Art Shows are organized by a group of Comox Valley artists who volunteer their time and energy to help other artists show and sell their work.  These volunteers represent a wide variety of disciplines and groups within the fine art community. 

The focus of the shows are to present truly original works of art to the general public.  Emphasis is placed on the traditional art forms of paintings, drawings and sculpture.  All money raised for the show through exhibitor fees, donations and sponsorships goes toward advertising, promotion and related show expenses.  There is free admission to these events.

Saskia King's Fine Art Studio - Student's Show

Saskia also teaches oil painting classes and every year in early March the students and herself participate in a show at this special little gallery, entirely run by dedicated volunteers.  Two of each artist's best and most recent work is featured and this is a great way for them to build up confidence, and provide the public with some beautiful, very reasonably priced artwork.  The studio classes and its yearly show have been growing and exhibiting since February 1997. Hope to see you there!
