Men’s Club Policies

  1. There shall be no refunds given to Men’s Club members signing up for a Men’s Club Tournaments and not showing up. Cancellations must be phoned to the pro shop 48 hours in advance of the tournament.

  2. For tournament scores the committee will further reduce or override the player's handicap factor if his performance is not consistent with his tournament score.

  3. The committee shall assign the member a handicap based on the member’s tournament score. This shall be done solely at the discretion of the committee.

  4. Members playing in Men’s Night who play alone will not be eligible to win skill prizes.

  5. Members signing up and playing one game of a two game inter-club match shall not receive a refund from the club for any missed game. The member is responsible for finding a replacement player and may secure payment from that replacement player if he wishes. It is not the responsibility of the Club to secure payment.

  6. Interclub events shall be attended by the Club Captain or his designate, two additional members of the committee plus 13 members of the Men’s Club. If more than 13 members wish to participate in the event a draw shall be held to determine the 13 members who shall attend.

  7. Members who have not posted all scores or do not have at least twenty current scores posted shall not be eligible for net prizes in any Men’s Club events.

  8. A Thursday Men’s Club sponsor may sponsor other Men’s Club events for minimum cost of $400. Members who are not sponsoring Thursday Men’s Night may sponsor other Men’s Club events at a minimum charge of $500.  (for 2004 Men's Night sponsorship, please contact Carl Shaw.) 

  9. All participants in Thursday Men’s Night shall have their name entered for the draw prizes.

  10. Members of the Men’s Club Committee who are absent for two consecutive Men’s club meetings shall be deemed to have resigned their position on the committee.

  11. Out of respect to Men’s Night Sponsors there shall be no horse races or similar types of events after / during a men’s night.

  12. Players participating in Men’s Club Events must be members of the Men’s Club or a Guest of a member and must be at least 19 years of age.

  13. A guest can only play in men’s night once a month.
