Order of Merit Rules  (Rev. Apr 10, 2006)
  • Each tournament will be assigned an Order of Merit points category.  Each event that is eligible for Order of Merit points will award points for the following categories.
    • Top GROSS finishers of the entire field based on the pre-determined points category outlined below.
    • Top NET finishers of the entire field based on the pre-determined points category outlined below.
    • If the event is a team tournament, additional bonus points will be awarded to each member of the top 5 teams based on the points outlined below.  Team bonus points only apply to the NET division.
  • All ties will be resolved by using the RCGA recommended tie-breaking method when a playoff is not feasible.  (click here to see tie-breaking method)
  • For Men's Club Championship, if more than one player ties for the lowest score at the end of regulation play, a playoff will determine the winner (click here to see playoff format).  All subsequent ties will be resolved based on the RCGA recommended tie-breaking method.
  • Please note new Order of Merit points allocation for Match Play.  Match Play points only apply to the NET division.

All qualifiers will receive 150pts.  Additional points are awarded to the winners of each round.  The eventual Match Play Champion will receive 1,000pts in total
