Our joint project with the Physics Department involves construction of a computer controlled optical telescope including a Spectra Source CCD camera. The first images made with the CCD camera were obtained Saturday, April 5th , 1997.
Our involvement has been installation of the ccd camera, focus, filter change, and camera rotation systems as well as financial support. The picture is part of the Physics Department's Devon Observatory, selecting the thumbnail will give you a larger view.
