Scientific Architecture Inc. strives to be the 'Firm that Accommodates and Delights' (with due apologies to Vitruvius). Scientific was established in the last century by Tony Kloepfer, an interior designer and registered architect in Alberta and British Columbia with a solid foundation of skills within the broad spectrum of the design, development and construction industries. Tony has previously served as the Chair of the Delta Design Advisory Panel and has volunteered with Big Brothers and the Whistler Public Art Committee.

Prior to launching Scientific Architecture Inc., Tony was the Senior Associate at Chandler Associates Architecture Inc. (1993-1999) in Vancouver, where he was the project architect for primarily commercial projects. Responsibilities included all phases of work from design through to construction completion. Prior professional experience includes full time construction site residency in Hong Kong with Leigh & Orange Architects (1992). As a project leader for the Frontiers Foundation (1991), hands-on experience was gained in the construction of energy efficient wood frame residences across the Canadian Arctic. Tony commenced his career in Waterloo, Ontario where he became an Associate at Snider Reichard March Architects (1986-1990). Tony has been previously registered as a member of both the Saskatchewan and Ontario Association of Architects. Formal education was received in Montreal at McGill University, earning Bachelors degrees in Science (1985) and Architecture (1986).
