I've always liked cats. It happens that I have two
of them.
SUNSHINE
Sunshine is the friendliest of my kitties. He was named by an ex-girlfriend who got him from the Kitimat SPCA in 1999. He is very shy when other people are around, but is full of affection otherwise. He was taken away from me in September of 2000 but was returned in July 2001. Sunshine has become the protector of my home. Many neighbourhood cats hang around, and sunshine has vocal battles with them before chasing them off. He has also become quite the motth hunter, catching them from the air and eating them. Other favourite foods include fish, apples and canteloupe.

RAMONE
Joey Ramone is the $300 kitty. He is called this
because it cost me over $300 in January 2002 to keep him alive when he got
urinary tract blockage. He has been using up his 9 lives faster than most
cats, I think. Back in 2001 he fell out of my third story apartment
window onto pavement (I believe that Mercury pushed him out of the window).
Fortunately, he walked away from that unscathed. I am happy
to say that he is full of life now. Ramone came from the Kitimat SPCA
in early 2000. He is a very friendly cat. He and Sunshine are the best
of friends (and I think Mercury hated them more for it). Ramone is
the great grasshopper hunter. Unlike Sunshine, Ramone doesn't eat his
prey. He captures them and brings the trophy to me. Ramone is
more fussy about food then sunshine. I'll try to get a more recent
photo of him when I can.
