Gallery #3 - March 14, 2002

I got another roll of film developed, and this time it is a step back in time from the last roll.  Most of these photos were taken in the Summer of 2000 when I was still living in Kitimat.  Let's get on with it.  Here is a sampling of shots from this roll.
The Assman

Here I am on a gravel bar of the Kitimat River, off the end of the Dyke Road, looking much too jolly to be real.  It was a beautiful day in Kitimat so Sasha and I decided to go to the river to enjoy the weather.  My blue Hyundai Pony can be seen in the background.
Sasha in the sand
Here Sasha is enjoying the sand along the Kitimat River.
Giant Sasha

Another picture of Sasha, taken from a low angle to make him look big.  I really like the way this photo tuened out.  That blue sky in the background looks very good too.  Sometimes I forget what blue sky looks like living in the Kitimat/Terrace area.
By the river
Sasha took this picture of me by the Kitimat River.  I can't help but to say again, it was a beautiful day.
Roses
Here is another shot of the garden that I had shots of in Gallery #1.  Of course, this is later in the year so the garden is better developed.  I was particularly happy with the roses.  When I bought them, I was told that people were having problems getting these particular orange roses growing in this area.  Fortunately, mine had no problems.
Sweet peas
This is a shot of my old backyard at Mallard Street, show ing the sweet peas I had planted there and my composter(which I miss having).
Sunshine
This is the first of a bunch of cat photos I took.  Here Sunshine is jumping in through the downstairs "gaming room" window.  You can barely see Ramone behind him.
Ramone
In this shot Ramone is perched on the window.
Sunshine
Another shot of Sunshine, perched on the window.
Cats
One more shot of the cats.  Sunshine is again perched on the window, Mercury is inside looking out, and Ramone can be seen outside (partially hidden by Mercury).
Pony and Skoda
Back when I posted my photo gallery #1 to this web site, I included a picture of my old Skoda.  I said that it may be the last picture that I took of it.  Now that I have had this roll of film developed, I realize that it was not true.  This photo of my Hyundai Pony and Skoda 135 was taken on the day that I got rid of the Skoda (early October 2000).  Despite the problems that this little white car gave me in later years I was very fond of it.
Towing
And here it is.  This is the last picture that I took of the Skoda as it was being towed away by Riverside Auto Wreckers.  This was a sad day indeed.
