I had Mercury for about 8 years.  Though she sometimes gave the illusion of being a sweet cat, she was really a demon.  She did not like children or other animals, and yes, that means she did not like my son or my other two cats.  She was the very definition of bad attitude.  I got her in August of 1994 at a pet store in Surrey, B.C.   When I had to make the move to the Lower Mainland, I had to make the decision to not take her.  I could really only take two cats, and the two that were friends with each other were the ones that went with me.  I offered Mercury up to all my friends, but nobody would take her, so she ended up at the Terrace Animal Shelter.  Hopefully, someone took her into their home.
