Joists

Jager Building Systems Super ITM joists are engineered structural joists, widely recognized as one of the industry's most innovative solutions to floor and roof framing requirements. Light-in-weight and designed for quality-conscious builders, JSITM; joists significantly reduce job-site labour and materials while providing roof and floor systems that are rigid and uniform.
Manufactured with 2x3 or 2x4 flanges and structurally enhanced Oriented Strand Board webs, JSITM joists will not warp, twist or shrink. JSITM joists are available in five different series and depths ranging from 9 1/4" to 24", for both residential and commercial applications. They can be cut to exact lengths or shipped in long lengths for field cutting. Vent holes are standard on the 16" JSITM 20 series and are available on all joists upon request.

OPEN JOIST 2000 is the only trimmable all wood open webbed, finger jointed floor truss without metal plate connectors.

The added strength of the system is derived from the structural power of triangulation and strongback bracing, which effectively absorbs and disperses floor vibration.  The combination of engineered wood components and structural design ensures a squeak-free floor, regardless of moisture and humid conditions.

OPEN JOIST 2000 is relatively new to Western Canada, but the system has been a proven winner elsewhere throughout the years.   It has survived the rigorous tests of time in the cold arctic climate of Quebec, the hot dry desert climate of Nevada and the humid salt air of Florida.
