Some of my ornaments are made from very nice wood. This particular ornament is made from cocobolo wood. I like the rich redish-brown color with the black streaking thorough it. |

| Sparkle ornaments are also fun to make. I tend to use a special kind of bending plywood as this makes a thinner ornament before the colored sparkle is added. |

This is one of the few ornaments that I make that are not 3 dimensional. That does not mean they are easier to make. There are some very fine details cut out of the wood. |
