2010 CANADIAN RIFLE SILHOUETTE
CHAMPIONSHIPS
SMALLBORE JULY 18, 19, 20 HIGH POWER JULY 22, 23, 24
The 2010 CANADIAN RIFLE SILHOUETTE CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held at the Heffley Creek Gun Club at Kamloops, B.C. There is ample space at the range site for tenting or R.V.s, please be advised there are no plug ins or hookups. We invite you and your family to join us for a fun-filled week of shooting metallic silhouette targets.
RANGE DIRECTIONS Take Hwy 5 North from Kamloops for 20 minutes and then take Old road towards Sun Peaks turn east at the Heffley Creek store. Proceed east for 4 km. turn left on gravel road marked with a silhouette ram and follow for approx. 2 km. to where the Heffley Creek Range welcomes you.

RULES - CLASSIFICATION
Current NRA Silhouette Rifle Rules will apply, as adopted by the SRAC. The SRAC & NRA Rifle Silhouette Classification booklets will be honored. Classification booklets must be presented when registering at the range. In accordance with rule 19.17.1 if a competitor fires a score which is two or three classes above his or her current class in any of the matches comprising the Championship he or she will be reclassified to one class below the class in which that high score falls for that fired match, and any subsequent fired matches.
COMPETITION - ELIGIBILITY
Open to all Canadians & non-residents who are members of their respective National shooting governing bodies. Competitors must provide their membership # on the entry form.
CERTIFICATION OF FIREARMS
All rifles must be certified prior to their use in the tournament. Certification will be held on July 17th for Smallbore
and July 21st for High Power. Equipment and apparel may be
inspected at random by Match Officials.

July 17 Practice day, competitors to set targets and police the range.
July 18 8:30am Opening Ceremonies.
9:00am One 40 shot Silhouette Rifle Match followed by one 40 shot Hunting
Rifle Match. Shoot offs and Presentation of the Match awards for the day.
July 19 9:00am One 40 shot Silhouette Rifle Match followed by one 40 shot Hunting
Rifle Match. Shoot offs and Presentation of the Match awards for the day.
July 20 9:00am One 40 shot Silhouette Rifle Match followed by one 40 shot Hunting
Rifle Match. Shoot offs and presentation of Match & National Aggregate awards.
HIGH POWER MATCH SDHEDULE
July 21 Practice day, competitors to set targets and police the range.
July 22 8:30am Opening Ceremonies.

NATIONAL RIFLE SILHOUETTE CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS
Smallbore and High Power Rifle Silhouette Championships will be the aggregate of the three matches for each class.
As per rule 19.8, if there are less than three shooters in a class, the shooters will be moved up to the next higher class.

Pins Awards
Smallbore: 10 in a row pins will be awarded to all classes, 5 in a row pins to “AA”, “A”, and “B” classes only.
High Power: 10 in a row & 5 in a row pins will be awarded to all classes.
RANGE SAFETY
All rules for safety will be strictly enforced. Failure to conform will be a basis for disqualification.
1. Rifle actions will be open at all times except on the firing line after the command “READY” is given. At the command “CEASE FIRE” all firearm actions will be opened IMMEDIATELY, unloaded, have an empty chamber indicator inserted and placed on the rifle stands.
2. “Dry Firing” or aiming firearms behind the firing line is prohibited. Firing line commands must be observed by the users of the designated dry firing area.
3. When not on the firing line firearms will be placed on racks, in cases or other safe places.
4. A shot fired before the “READY” will result in disqualification for the day’s match.
5. The Match Director or Range Officer has the authority to ban any competitor, firearm or ammunition at any time for reasons of safety.
6. Consumption of any alcoholic beverage, narcotic or controlled substance which can impair the normal mental or physical functions of the body, either on the range or in the spectator or public areas which are immediately adjacent to the range, while the range is in use, is prohibited.
ENTRIES
Entries close when the limit of 80 Smallbore and 48 High Power entries is reached. Advance registration is encouraged. Please ensure that you have your classification booklet and membership card from your National Silhouette governing body. SRAC memberships will be available for those who require one.
Please make check payable to Heffley Creek Gun Club and mail with the entry.
Refunds: If after registering, you find you are unable to attend, a full refund will be made if the Stats Officer is notified no later than June 15, 2010. If notification is received after that date, a $10.00 handling charge will be retained with the balance of the entry fee being refunded.
