Silvermere Rottweilers was formulated in '80 after living on a private island estate on Silvermere Lake. We had researched Rottweilers and found them to be superb family companions upon our sanctuary.

Our first CKC registered male rottweiler - Baron peaked our interest into the breed's versatility and workability. These early dogs drew our attentions from obedience and tracking and led us to the world of Schutzhund and the ADRK.

We became part of a group which formed the Fraser Valley Rottweiler Club under the assistance and guidance of the ADRK. Silvermere Rottweilers became fully immersed in the ideology of the ADRK. Our Fraser Valley Rottweiler Club hosted the first ever in North America - ADRK judged Schutzhund trial for Rottweilers and also Sieger show. Afterwards the USRC was formed after strong response was received from the FVRC. The early years led to a strong based commitment of utilizing proven German Rottweiler bloodlines that continues to this date.

Silvermere Rottweilers are always owner raised, trained and exhibited. Our Silvermere Rottweilers successfully compete in obedience, tracking and Schutzhund. They come from German bloodlines having certifications in hips, elbows, eyes and hearts.

Silvermere Rottweilers have obtained Schutzhund titles under ADRK and SV judges receiving V ratings in their work. Silvermere Rottweilers have won:

1. Most Promising Puppy in Show
2. Youth Sieger and Youth Siegerin
3. V-1 Sieger and Siegerin Multi V rated Obtained ADRK-ZTPR under ADRK judges

The Silvermere Rottweiler goal is to produce and exhibit V -rated dogs of correct structure and temperament. This can then assist the Rottweiler breed as a positive member of family and society.
