REMEMBRANCE OF ALL
SOULS November is the month to remember all our departed
families, brothers, sister and friends. Please pick the “All Souls
Day Remembrance” envelopes and drop into the collection basket during mass or
return to parish office. One Mass per envelope will be offered except
indicated.

receive Holy Communion by hand is encouraged in order to reduce the risk of
H1N1.
The Travelling Exhibit
of the Pilgrim Pope To commemorate the 25th anniversary
of the visit by Pope John Paul II, the Archdiocese has assembled a travelling
exhibition of artifacts and memorabilia with digital photos, artifacts from the
event, and six large banners. It will be in our parish at Room A &
B. Nov 7 (Sat) from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Nov 8 (Sun) from 8:00 a.m. -
2:00 p.m.
Youth
Retreat Nov 8 (this Sun), 1:30 - 5:00 p.m. at Room A
& B. Activities include Cantonese talks by Fr. Francis Ching on
Christian Leadership and Heart of Praise & Worship, a Praise & Worship
session, and Eucharistic Adoration. Please call Bosco778-885-5224.
Year for Priests
To promote prayers for priest in Year for Priest, especially for the priests in
our Archdiocese, you are asked to spiritually support a priest and pray for
them. St. John Vianney holy cards are available from the Info Counter.
Each card contains the name of a priest in diocese.
Vocation Cross is
encouraged to take home for praying for vocation. Please sign up at Info
Counter.
Everlasting Light:-The
Journey Before sharing this wonderful experience in the
Car
Break-ins Two cars were broken into recently in our parking lot and
properties were stolen at night time. Please be careful of your property
and don’t leave them in your car.
Christmas Cards Sending
religious messages through Christmas card is far better than those without.

2009 We are only $2,680 short of our target. Please pledge in parish
office.

Redevelopment Donation is still
needed. Parishioners who are in building business (exterior or interior)
are invited to contact the Parish Office.

Communication He will be in Vancouver Nov 9 & 10 to
talk about how the Church can use modern communications to serve the community
of faith. Fr. de Souza will talk to students at the Catholic colleges on
the UBC campus and to the public at Christ the Redeemer Parish in

Remembrance Mass The Gardens of Gethsemani will host a
remembrance Mass on Nov 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Archbishop J Michael Miller, CSB

Christmas is Coming to
St. Peter’s Church St. Peter’s CWL is having their Annual
Bazaar on Nov 14 (Sat) from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Baked goods,
Christmas crafts, jewelry, sewing and lunch food will be sold. Craft
booths are also available and the event will include a silent auction
and a miscellaneous
table.
