Summer Faith Camp

Jul 6-10 & 13-17, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Theme is “The Lord is my Shepherd”.

$50/one week & $80 for two weeks.

 

Parish Picnic    The Explorer - Experience the Golden Ears Provincial Park, Alouette Lake on long weekend Aug 3 (Mon).  Bus tickets are available now.  Adult $12, Child 5-12/$10.  Prepare your own food & drink. Friends and family are welcome.

 

Thank You Volunteers    The parish cannot without you, volunteer.  Thank you for your dedicated service for God.  May God bless you and have a wonderful summer holiday.

 

Fundraising     The Canadian Martyrs English Prayer Group will be selling barbeque and other food items at the food court this Sunday after Masses.  Proceeds will benefit the Prayer Group’s Youth Summer and Adult Weekend Retreats.  Come and support.

Rectory Redevelopment - One Christ One Body       Our parish’s second phase development is to rebuild the parish rectory which is an integral part of any church. Our current total pledge is 2549 sq. ft. for a new rectory of 4161 sq. ft.  Sponsorship for one square foot is $150.

 

Church Attire   Summer wear needs not be exposure.  Decency and respect are the norm.

WCCCLC 2009       is an annual spiritual event that will be held on Sep 4 - 7 this year.  All Chinese Catholic age 17-35 are welcome to strengthen their faith, re-energize themselves and return to serve God at their parishes.  Please proceed to the registration booth or visit www.wccclc.net/.

 

Our Lady of Mount Carmel    The Carmelite Fathers invite everyone to a special Mass by Bishop Gary Gordon of Whitehorse at Guardian Angels Parish, 1161 Broughton Street, Vancouver.  Vespers on July 16 at 6:40 p.m. will be followed by Holy Mass at 7:00 p.m.  Devotees of Our Lady of Mt.
