In elementary school, about half of my life revolved around Transformers. It wasn't just the toys themselves. There were sticker books, action cards, comics, the cartoons, and the movie. We used to do a lot of trading in school, and other kids brought their toys to class for show and tell. Those were the good old days of the 1980s!

Only a handful of what I used to play with remains with me today. Mainframe Entertainment Inc. brought back the Transformers storyline in 1996 with Beast Wars (Beasties in Canada) and later in 1999 with Beast Machines. Thanks to Michael Bay and Steven Speilburg, the Transformers make another appearance 8 years later... this time as a live action/CG movie!
