A complete listing of skyscrapers
in North America

(Edition I: September 1999)
-Updated monthly-

Hi, Welcome to the skyscrapers website my friends and I have created.
We're currently living in beautiful Vancouver, Canada - a city that's not known for its buildings but it is ranked 11th of all cities in the world (4th in North America) in the number of buildings over 76m/250 feet! It is really an amazing feat on Vancouver's status in the skyscraper world given the relatively small population we have compared to other cities. In the meantime, we're trying to compile a list of skycrapers in every major city in North America. In the future, pictures of each building will be posted but right now only some is available. ENJOY!!!

- Please Select City From Drop-Down Lists -

North America - Canada [425]

North America - USA [1,055]

NOTES:
-Numbers in brackets indicate the number of buildings catalogued
-Only habitable buildings/skyscrapers and observation towers are cataloged.
TV towers, water towers, church towers, airport towers, clock towers, monuments, bridge supports, dams and sports stadiums/arenas are all excluded.
-Height is from lowest point on ground to highest point of building (excluding antennas, poles, or other structures that's not part of
building itself unless otherwise noted) and is rounded off to the nearest one meter/feet. Only buildings that are higher than approximately
 76m/250' are catalogued.
-Stories are from ground floor (sidewalk level) up and excluding underground floors e.g. parking garages and roofs
-Building names and heights can be changed without notice until future editions
-Population figures are for the entire metro area. Individual city populations within the metro area may not add up to the total metro population.

THIS MONTH'S UPDATES: -New cities added to collection this month: Knoxville, Tennessee
-Cities with revised and/or added data: Vancouver, British Columbia
