Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I move the tent once it's been set up?
    No, you can't move the tent by yourself. You can, however, contact us to move it for you.
  2. How long does it take to set up a tent?
    Set up times range from 5 minutes for a 10x10 to 5 hours for the 40x120
  3. Do you only rent tents for parties and weddings?
    No. We rent tents for all sorts of occasions. Beergardens, fall fairs, and sidewalk sales are just some of the events we've set up tents for.
  4. It's Thursday and I need a tent for Saturday. Will I be able to rent a tent on such short notice?
    Maybe. It really depends on the season. May to September is the busiest time of year for us. Give us a call and we'll see what we can do!
  5. I live in a really windy area. Are the tents sturdy in the wind?
    You bet they are. We've set up tents for oceanside gatherings with high winds. Our technicians know how to secure your tent to the ground so it won't be going anywhere.
  6. Do I have to worry about cleaning the dishes or glasses I rent from you?
    No. That's the great thing about renting from us: no clean up! Just rinse the plates and empty the glasses and we take it from there.
  7. Do you provide servers for events?
    We do have names of people who will serve at your event. Just ask!
  8. Can you deliver my rented supplies to me?
    We sure can. For a moderate extra fee, we can bring all your supplies right to you. If you're having a tent set up on the site, we'll even deliver your party supplies for free!
  9. I live on Denman Island. Am I too far away to rent from you?
    No, you're not. We deliver and set up tents all over southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. We've had set ups in Victoria and Port Renfrew, we frequently travel to Saltspring, and we've even made one trip to Tofino to deliver tents. There are extra delivery charges involved, though. If you think you're too far away, just call us and ask!
  10. Can you help me figure out what I need for my event?
    Certainly. We have years of experience helping nervous brides plan for their weddings. We can help you pick out everything you'll need to make your occasion special.
